The Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club's Junior Program Foundation?s mission is to educate children and promote amateur sailing, tennis and golf sports for all community residents through the use of the Junior Programs of the Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club: To teach basic seamanship and safety in handling and use of small boats. To foster physical well-being in the children. To teach good sportsmanship and responsibility to others. To advance interested participants in intermediate and advanced sports competition and to foster competitive sports activities and events.
