Advocacy 101 Workshop: Monday, September 9th

Can nonprofits advocate? Yes! Can they lobby? Absolutely! Are there rules you need to know before getting started? You bet there are!

This in-person workshop is for 501(c)(3) organizations that are new to advocacy (or those looking for a refresher).

We will cover:

  • the meaning of advocacy
  • why advocacy is important for nonprofits
  • advocacy fundamentals and simple steps to start
  • voter engagement and registration methods
  • and a small planning session for your organization in regard to advocacy

Anybody can be an advocate, so if you've been nervous about entering the advocacy sphere, this is the perfect opportunity to get grounded and equipped!

Where: Hampton Inn in Kennebunk, Maine (6 Independence Dr, Kennebunk, ME 04043)
