Maine Indoor Air Quality Council

The mission of the Maine Indoor Air Quality Council is to promote quality of life through improved indoor environments. The Council shall identify and promote best practices for building and maintaining healthy indoor environments. The Council shall recommend credible and science-based (peer reviewed whenever possible) resources based on the information available to the Council. The Council shall determine and report on the status of indoor air quality efforts in an annual report, and will coordinate indoor environmental improvement efforts between state agencies and the private sector. The Council shall raise public awareness of indoor air quality as it impacts quality of life and productivity. The Council shall promote educational activities in accordance with its mission.
