Professional Bio

Laura Lee is vice president of community impact at the Maine Community Foundation, leading the department in bringing together content expertise, external relationships, and grant resources to build a better Maine. She oversees the facilitation of and participation in collaborations that address MaineCF’s priority areas, working closely with the Board, CEO, and Management Team to set and advance the foundation’s strategic goals and objectives. Prior to joining MaineCF in 2015, Lee held positions at Bowdoin College, including assistant dean of student affairs. Lee earned a B.A. in history from Oberlin College and a master’s and Ph.D. in U.S. history from UCLA. She lives with her husband and three kids in Brunswick.
