MANP Connects
Conversations + connections for Maine's nonprofit community
As a leading advocate and resource, MANP is committed to ensuring that Maine nonprofits have the information and connections they need to adapt, manage and lead during these extraordinarily challenging times.
We believe that by bringing people, ideas and resources together we will collectively be more strategic, creative, and courageous in our missions to advance the public good.
Over the past several years, our MANP Connects program has become a consistent space to discuss common issues and hear from peers and partners at the forefront of the opportunities and challenges facing Maine nonprofits and communities.
MANP Connects 2025
In 2025, MANP Connects will be a monthly (mostly) and virtual (usually) series of conversations, and will remain FREE and open to all! To ensure our conversations can be timely and responsive to the moment, the specific topics and speakers will be announced closer to each date.
Visit our Events Calendar to find dates and register for upcoming sessions (register separately for each date).
How It Started, How It's Going
Our MANP Connects series launched in April 2020 at the start of the pandemic to help our network feel connected and supported, share information and resources, and get inspired. Since then we have hosted more than 50 virtual chats and 2 live events featuring 100+ guest speakers representing the nonprofit sector, philanthropy, state and federal government, and the business community. Topics have included leadership transition, workspace innovate, corporate community engagement, re-imagining events, healthy workplace cultures, election engagement, workforce shortages, coalition-building and much more!
