MANP sponsors three major statewide events every year. These events are attended by 150-250 nonprofit leaders from throughout the state, and provide significant marketing opportunities for businesses, individuals and organizations through sponsorships and exhibit space. Exhibit space at conferences is offered to friends of MANP exclusively.
MANP Annual Meeting
This event is held annually in late April or early May in either the Greater Augusta or Portland areas. This is the one annual event in Maine where nonprofit executives and volunteers from organizations of all sizes, geographic regions, and mission areas congregate to network, learn about trends facing the nonprofit sector, and share resources. Keynote speakers and session leaders are drawn from all over the country and region, and represent the best thinking and experience in the nonprofit sector.

Finance/Risk Management Conference
The Maine Association of Nonprofits, Nonprofit Risk Management Center, and the New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits collaborate to present a two day conference in Kennebunkport designed to help nonprofit leaders effectively integrate sound finance and risk management practices into their operations. At an inspiring, oceanfront location, attendees learn important skills to achieve a greater measure of accountability and harness practical tools to strengthen their mission impact. The conference is designed for nonprofit CFO’s, finance professionals, CEO’s, board members, and department heads. Veteran nonprofit professionals, as well as new managers, will feel at home at this information-packed event. Board Governance Conference
The Board Governance Conference, a collaborative effort between MANP and The Institute for Civic Leadership, is held annually in early November in either the Greater Portland or Augusta areas. This event connects nonprofit staff and board leaders around important governance issues, and provides opportunities to network, share resources and participate in group-learning activities.
